PRP Hair Restoration
Natural Results Without Surgery
PRP Hair Restoration Is a Natural Procedureto Improve the Thickness and Density of Thinning Hair.
How Does PRP Help with Hair Regrowth on Your Scalp?
The growth factors in the Platelet Rich Plasma promote healing, collagen production and increased bloodflow which helps to regenerate hair follicles. The Platelet-rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM) stimulates new blood flow with new blood vessels (neovascularization). The PRFM converts hair from resting telogen phase to active growing anagen phase while blocking DHT (dihydrotestosterone). The Acell stimulates hair growth along with PRFM in a symbiotic way. The Vitamin D and B-complex vitamins increase the diameter size of the hair shaft growth. What all this means is you will see up to a 30% increase in the number of hair follicles, along with an actual increase in the diameter of your hair follicles, resulting in a thicker, fuller head of hair.
Is this Procedure Just for Men?
Absolutely not, women have seen great results from the PRP Hair Restoration as well. The best part is, there is no downtime, stitches, or otherwise any evidence that you even had a procedure done except for the gradual regrowth of hair on your thinning scalp.
How Long Does It Take?
Before the procedure, your provider will go over the procedure and discuss with you your desires for the outcome and the actual results you can expect. The procedure is performed in our office at Sunshine Health Care Center and takes approximately 15 - 20 minutes, not including the time to extract and process your PRP.
How Many Procedures Does It Take?
PRP Hair Restoration takes a minimum of 3 treatments to achieve measurable hair growth, however, we recommend up to 6 treatments to achieve the best possible results. We offer a great discount on packages. Please schedule a consultation to talk with a provider and discuss your expectations. We can formulate the right treatment plan for you to get the results that you want.
Does It Hurt?
While you are waiting for the PRP to be extracted from your blood draw, we will evenly apply a topical anesthetic cream to your entire scalp before the procedure. Once you are completely numb, your provider will administer the shots using a smaller than normal needle in a pattern that will most greatly benefit your pattern of balding. Depending on the area to be treated, we may also use Micro-needling to introduce the PRP. The process is relatively painless and goes very quickly. As always, it’s important for you to communicate with our staff your tolerance to pain.
