How Long Does It Take?

The actual procedure itself is done in our office at Sunshine Health Care Center and takes approximately 15-20 minutes. There is also the pre-procedure time to extract the PRP from your blood and apply numbing cream, and the post-procedure time to use the provided medical pumping device. All-in-all you can expect to spend an hour to an hour-and-a-half for your visit. After your procedure, you can resume all normal activities, including sexual activity as soon as you are comfortable.

How Many Procedures Does It Take?

You can see results and significant improvement in as little as one treatment. You might consider multiple treatments depending on the severity of your condition and the results you are looking for. Does the Procedure Hurt?

Actually, it’s been reported that this PRP procedure has the least pain out of all of them. The area is completely desensitized using numbing cream. You might feel a bit of a pinch during the injections, which has been described as “about 1/10th of a bee sting”. Some men report not feeling the injections at all. For those particularly sensitive individuals, we can provide a “block” injection to completely numb the entire area, but this is rarely needed.
